The Research and Development (R&D) Department at BIS has been established as a dynamic and vibrant hub dedicated to spearheading intellectual exploration and fostering continuous educational advancement within our institution. More than just a department, it is envisioned as the epicenter of innovative thought, where curiosity is actively nurtured and the pursuit of knowledge is paramount.

This department is firmly committed to cultivating a pervasive culture of inquiry throughout the school community. This involves encouraging both students and faculty to ask probing questions, challenge existing paradigms, and explore novel solutions to complex problems. We aim to empower our learners and educators to become proactive investigators and critical thinkers.

A core function of the R&D Department is to drive impactful research that is not only academically rigorous but also relevant to contemporary educational challenges and opportunities. This research may span pedagogical innovations, curriculum development, the integration of emerging technologies, and student well-being, among other vital areas. The insights gained are then systematically disseminated through prestigious international platforms, including academic journals, conferences, and collaborative networks, thereby contributing to the global discourse on educational best practices and showcasing BIS’s intellectual contributions.

Our Focus: Research, Publication, and Engagement

The R & D Department is actively involved in the following key areas:

  • Facilitating and Supporting Research Work: We provide resources, mentorship, and collaborative opportunities for faculty members to pursue their research interests. This includes assistance with research design, data collection, and analysis.
  • Publishing in International Journals: A core objective is to disseminate our research findings to a global audience. The department supports faculty in preparing high-quality manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed international journals, enhancing the school’s academic reputation and contributing to the broader educational discourse.
  • Conducting Research-Based Programs: We believe in translating research into impactful learning experiences. The R & D Department spearheads the development and execution of programs such as:
  • Panel Discussions: Bringing together experts and researchers to discuss current educational challenges and innovations, fostering critical thinking and knowledge exchange within our school community.
  • Research Seminars and Workshops: Providing platforms for faculty and students to present their research findings, engage in scholarly debate, and learn about cutting-edge research methodologies.
  • Student Research Forums: Encouraging student-led research projects and providing opportunities for them to present their work, fostering early engagement in the research process.
